The Department of Health is seeking a highly self-motivated Allied Health Professional to join the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Reform team located in Northern Tasmania.

The Role:

As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, the Allied Health Professional will:

1. Undertake the delivery of quality recovery-focused services to clients of the Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment, and Older Persons Mental Health Service based on best practice principles and within a recovery framework. Service delivery is within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework, that includes those with lived experiences.
2. Provide a specialist assessment and consumer-led treatment service to clients of Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment, and Older Persons Mental Health Service and their families or carers.

Details of appointment:

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $110,425 - $121,907 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022.
• You'll have access to salary packaging a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
• Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

• Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
• Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable as determined by individual position requirements).
• Current Driver's Licence.
  *Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee's responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change.
