About The Role

Reporting to the State Operations Manager, the Branch Operations Supervisor supports the State Operations Manager throughout QLD. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure branches have sufficient support, resources, and guidance to achieve objectives while maintaining safety and compliance standards. The role involves regular travel.

Responsibilities
  • Monthly reporting of activities and projects.
  • Planning for growth within branches.
  • Managing the operations of all branch staff in collaboration with Branch Managers.
  • Developing operational budgets and working with managers to meet targets.
  • Identifying staff strengths, weaknesses, and development needs.
  • Ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Optimizing logistics and yard operations.
  • Controlling delivery costs within budgets.
  • Recruiting driver contractors where feasible.

Skills & Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring across multiple sites.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
