Barto Gold is an Australian Gold explorer, developer, and producer who has been operating since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. The operation consists of a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, three active underground mines, two active open pits, with new mines started in 2025 and planned to start in 2026 as part of the companies 5-year plan and a vision to reach 150,000oz/pa by 2028

This is an exciting time to join the company as we pave the way for future growth. This will be a permanent role on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster, BIBO from Perth or DIDO option available.

Due to company expansion and growth we currently have multiple vacancies for experienced frontline Jumbo Operators. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed underground operational team on the convenience of family friendly rosters.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience: We are looking for an operator with experience on twin boom Sandvik jumbos, with the ability to achieve set targets in safety, development metres and cost control.
  • Demonstrated awareness of the Work Health and Safety Act demonstrating a commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • Current Underground Mine Safety and relevant trade/shotfiring tickets (preferred).

Qualifications:

  • Working at heights within 5 years.
  • Hold a current Dangerous Goods Security Card (desirable).
  • Minimum "C" class unencumbered drivers licence.
