Overview

Senior Physiotherapist – Primary & Community Health (Incentives Offered) – NSW Health. Wellington Health Service is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join the Allied Health Team. This role predominantly provides inpatient physiotherapy care and rehabilitation, as well as outpatient support and classes in a busy rural facility.

Role Details
  • Employment Type: Temporary Full Time (up to 15 Feb 2026 – job share may be considered)
  • Position Classification: Physiotherapist Level 4
  • Remuneration: $121,658.00 - $124,607.00 per annum (+ superannuation + salary packaging options) + NSW Health – Western NSW LHD Incentives (conditions apply and may be pro‑rata'd to contracted/ordinary hours). For more details, visit Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.

About The Role

Wellington Health Service (WHS) is a 12 bed inpatient facility with a busy Emergency Department. Services include dynamic Community Health, Ambulatory Care, Dialysis Unit, and an Allied Health team including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Mental Health, Dietetics, Speech Therapy, Diabetes Education, Chronic Care, Child & Family Health, Aboriginal Health and Drug & Alcohol Support including Methadone Program and Dental Health. Previous experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Relevant Physiotherapist qualification and registration
  • Experience in hospital or rehabilitation settings preferred but not essential
