About the role

In this afternoon shift position, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations by safely operating a forklift to load and unload timber deliveries. You'll be responsible for moving timber products throughout the site, including transporting materials to the chemical treatment bay in preparation for processing. This role requires attention to detail, a strong safety focus, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced yard environment.

Duties
  • Operate forklift to load and unload timber
  • Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance of forklift equipment
  • Follow site safety procedures and comply with all WHS regulations
  • Assist with general yard duties as required
  • Working hours 1pm - 9pm
Requirements
  • Valid forklift licence
  • Previous experience with timber (desirable)
  • Unrestricted working rights
  • Good knowledge of warehouse safety
