About the role

As a Team Leader at Johnny H QLD, based at Varsity Lakes, you will assist in coordinating the daily operations of the team to ensure they work cohesively for the participant(s) and have clear objectives, working in a person-centered model.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading a team of Disability Support professionals to create a positive team culture.
  • Supporting people living with disabilities within our ULearn, Life Skills, and Social programs.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders including clients, families, and team members.
  • Coordinating rosters alongside the General Manager to support client requirements according to individual support needs, service funding, and relevant legislation.
  • Providing coaching and identifying development opportunities.
  • Completing induction/training of new team members when required.
  • Supporting the growth of the Johnny H program.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in reporting and implementing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficient in MS Office and use of technology such as MS Teams, scanning, printers, etc.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of NDIS.
