As Regional Clinical Manager for Sydney, you'll report to Head of Regional Services NSW/QLD/NT and play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of talented Behaviour Support Practitioners. At CPBS, our work is based on the principles of Multi-Element Behaviour Support (MEBS) and Positive Behaviour Support for children and adults in the home, community, and school/workplace settings.You'll be responsible for providing high-level team supervision across clinical framework development, evaluation of programme outcomes and contributing to best practice in psychological science and Applied Behaviour Analysis. Additionally, you'll collaborate with management to drive business development and growth activities for the region.

What you'll do:

Clinical focus

• Provide specialist clinical supervision to a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners in line with the CPBS supervision framework.

• Identify gaps in clinical knowledge within the team and work with the Head of Regional Services (HRS) to address them.

• Contribute to the evolution and evaluation of CPBS clinical framework.

• Provide support in crisis situations.

• Ensure practitioners are operating within industry compliance standards, legislative requirements, and organisational policies and maintain ethical practices.

• Adhere to NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission requirements.

Leadership focus

• Oversee workflow management across the team.

• Apply change management skills and model flexible thinking to support the team during periods of change.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in clinical practice service delivery and professional development of practitioners for various clinical roles.

• Develop and maximise clinical teams' efficiency in provision of client service hours.

• Collaborate with the HRS to determine recruitment and workforce planning needs.

• Undertake performance development activities including performance reviews for team members.

Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll need:

  • Postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support and/or Applied Behaviour Analysis, or currently be undertaking such postgraduate qualifications.
  • Substantial experience inPositive Behaviour Support services and the clinical supervision ofBehaviour Support Practitioners.
  • Proven leadership andteam management experience withan understanding of contemporary HR practices.
  • Skillsin efficiently processing andanalysing large datasets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing and delivering complex reports.
  • Effective time management skills, managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and/or territory legislation and process related to restricted practice.
  • Possess and maintain all mandatory compliance checks including an NDIS Practitioner ID, NDISWorkers Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Hold a valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
  • Willingness to make a significant difference in the lives of the people and families we support
