Routes: Delivering to Visy sites across NSW, SA, VIC, QLD.
Locations: Based out of Yatala Depot
Hours: Linehaul BFM Hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate B-Double & A-Double combinations safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and compliance.
  • Maintain timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, adhering to schedules.
  • Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and required documentation.
  • Comply with company/site policies, state, and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
  • Ensure secure transportation of freight in accordance with load restraint guidelines.

Requirements:

  • A valid MC Licence with at least 2 years' recent Australian driving experience.
  • Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
  • Sound knowledge of regional areas or interstate routes.
  • Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
  • Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
  • Excellent communication, time management skills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
  • BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.
  • Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
