Moriah College is a co-educational Early Learning - Year 12 Jewish Day School based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The College has earned an outstanding reputation for academic excellence complemented by dynamic co- and extra-curricular programs.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an engaging, personable, and organized individual to join the school canteen as part of the cold kitchen team, preparing salads, sandwiches, and baking as required.

This is a permanent part-time position, 30 hours per week, from 8am to 2:30pm on weekdays, during school term only.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Preparation of salads, wraps, and bespoke sandwiches
  • Preparation for catering of functions as required
  • Preparing and selling menu items as per the canteen menu
  • Assistance with maintenance and cleanliness of the canteen kitchen
  • Baking as required depending on experience
Experience Required
  • At least 3 years experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Experience in salad and sandwich making
  • Experience with monitoring wastage in the kitchen
  • Experience in catering is advantageous
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • A positive can-do attitude
