You will lead the development and execution of procurement strategies that directly support NGM Group's strategic priorities. Success in this role means delivering a high-performing, cost-effective procurement function that enables value across the organisation.
You will be responsible for optimising third-party relationships, establishing robust procurement frameworks, and building strong internal and external partnerships that drive strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive a strategic, fit-for-purpose Procurement strategy including the establishment and execution of fit-for-purpose Procurement frameworks to drive commercial and operational outcomes in line with organisational strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement contemporary and best-practice strategy to deliver target benefits and financial savings in liaison with internal stakeholders and external providers.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the organisation to identify and document the requirements for an effective procurement framework incorporating strategy, governance, organisational interface, people, process and technology.
- Develop and provide reporting of procurement activities to Management and the Board.
- Lead the identification, assessment and management of potential risks associated with differing strategies for the business unit.
- Drive ownership of strategic partnerships to support organisational strategy.
- Develop and implement relevant procedures and governance for effective management of the business unit.
- Define and lead key supplier relationships to deliver breakthrough performance in cost, service, and quality, including technical input to negotiations on strategically significant contracts.
- Lead engagement across Business Units to proactively identify ways to improve the efficiency of services provided by Procurement.
- Develop the modern slavery strategy and ensures compliance with the regulations.
- Strong leadership experience, with the proven ability to drive unit-level strategy through a high performing team.
- Demonstrated high-level commercial acumen, including the proven ability to drive optimal business results, cost-savings, and efficiencies.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement operations, with a strong understanding of related procedures and governance requirements.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with external suppliers to align with strategic priorities.
- Strong cross functional experience within an organisation in a complex operating environment.
- Experience and skill in prioritising and managing multiple projects/tasks, with technical project management skills.
- SOUND KNOWLEDGE OF LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS AFFECTING SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT.
- Exceptional negotiation and analytical skills.
