Our client is a professional services company specialising in Project Management, Commercial Management, Property Assessment, Asset Management and Consulting across the Construction, Infrastructure and Property Sectors.

This role involves a cost management position on the team.

• Perform normal project quantity surveying / cost management tasks at all project stages, including pre-contract cost planning and bills of quantities production.
• Provide post-contract interim recommendations and variation account valuation and agreement.
• Engage in technical due diligence on proposed developments in both the public and private sectors where applicable.

• 2+ years relevant experience in a professional environment.
• Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management or an appropriate conversion course.
• Knowledge of ARM and preparation of BOQs to ARM.
• Previous experience in a consulting or contracting environment providing / undertaking Cost Management services is desirable.
• Understanding of construction projects.
• Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills; report writing knowledge essential.
• Drive to learn and contribute in a positive and engaging manner.
• Ability to work as part of a team to deliver collective tasks and also to work under own initiative where appropriate.
• Full Driving License, occasional travel to client sites.

• Package: €45K - €65K, depending on level of experience and negotiable for the right candidate.
