What role will you play?

Throughout your role, you will engage with stakeholders to determine data requirements, identify and resolve issues, design solutions, streamline processes, and coordinate the testing and implementation of system and process changes. Your efforts will ensure consistent data quality for all consumers of our data.

In this role, you will review current control frameworks to develop and implement robust controls, while navigating and interpreting a wide range of data sources to ensure accurate representation of financial markets data, including complex derivatives.

What You Offer

  • 3-6 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with a proven ability to detect breaks, anomalies, and issues in reporting.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Data, or a related field, with a strong academic record and knowledge of financial services or financial market products.
  • Highly numerate with the ability to critically analyse, interrogate, interpret, and draw conclusions from multiple data sources, demonstrating an aptitude for identifying issues and determining effective solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Prior experience with data analytical tools such as Alteryx and PowerBI is highly preferred.
  • Ability to clearly convey complex and technical requirements to both peers and senior colleagues.
