The RoleJarrahdale PS seeks highly dedicated and enthusiastic teachers committed to evidence-based practices with a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy. We offer small class sizes with most classes comprising mixed year levels (two year groups).
There may be opportunities in the following areas:
- Kindergarten Teacher – part time
- Lower Primary Teacher – full time / part time
- Middle Primary Teacher – full time
- Upper Primary Teacher – part time
- Specialist Teachers – part time
A combination of fixed-term and permanent positions may be available.
Suitable applicants will design and deliver an engaging curriculum grounded in data-informed practices, with a clear focus on intentional play (in Kindergarten), explicit instruction, and daily reviews. Familiarity with programs and approaches such as Sounds Write, UFLI, Spelling Mastery, and knowledge units will be highly regarded.

EligibilityTo work with us, you must:
- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
