The RoleThe successful applicant will ideally be a dedicated, highly competent, and enthusiastic Mathematics teacher with excellent interpersonal skills. The successful applicant should have the knowledge and skills necessary to apply a range of high impact engaging teaching strategies and develop a positive classroom learning environment. They should possess the professional knowledge, understandings and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary school Mathematics curriculum.
The successful applicant should support the implementation of the school's business plan, work and teach in a team environment, be committed to whole school approaches and initiatives, and have a strong evidence-based approach to teaching. As part of their standard practice, teachers should embrace opportunities to reflect on and assess the effectiveness of their teaching practices using a variety of methods available within the school.
