Maternal and Child Health Nurse

We are seeking a qualified Maternal and Child Health Nurse to join our team on a part-time secondment opportunity for 12 months, working 3 days per week.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will support our high-quality program by providing a range of efficient and comprehensive services to families and children, aiming to optimise their health, wellbeing, learning, development, and safety.
- Practice safely and competently according to the current Department of Health Maternal and Child Health framework.
- Practice within the Glen Eira MCH service delivery model that is responsive, flexible, and accessible to the individual needs of children and families.
- Identify children and families experiencing vulnerability, provide health information, and facilitate early intervention through engagement with services.
You must be an MCH Nurse with clinical nursing expertise and excellent communication skills. You should be flexible and responsive to the changing needs of families and work from a strengths-based, family-centered approach.
- Current Registered Nurse (Div 1) and Registered Midwife with AHPRA, with additional postgraduate qualifications in Maternal and Child Health Nursing.
- Demonstrated experience working in Maternal and Child Health Services or a related area.
- Current and valid Victorian Driver's Licence and a roadworthy vehicle.
