Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing preliminary sketch designs for client approval and developing comprehensive designs in accordance with town planning regulations and building codes.
  • Liaising and coordinating with sub-consultants to ensure effective integration of their contributions into projects.
  • Preparing formal submissions, including design drawings and reports, and submitting them to relevant authorities.
  • Assisting Project Leaders in site inspections, client meetings, and consultant coordination to keep projects on track.
  • Progressing project documentation using Revit software in line with office standards.
  • Preparing and reviewing tender documentation and assisting with the tendering process.
  • Observing contract conditions, including site inspections and post-completion assessments.
  • Maintaining up-to-date quality assurance documentation and ensuring compliance with project quality procedures.
  • Communicating regularly with Project Leaders and Directors, providing updates on project progress and seeking guidance as needed.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
  • Eligibility for registration as an Architect in Australia.
  • Proficiency in Revit (ArchiCAD experience highly regarded but not essential).
  • Strong design, documentation, and contract administration skills.
  • Solid understanding of building codes and construction techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
  • Previous experience in an architectural practice across commercial, residential, industrial, and retail sectors is advantageous.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commitment to design excellence.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and multi-skilled with a philosophical approach to architecture.
  • Demonstrates initiative, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and a proactive attitude toward professional development.
