Compass Group Australia willdeliver essential support services at the new Footscray Hospital, one of Victoria's largest health infrastructure projects. We willprovidevital services, including patient services, environmental services, food, security, help desk, and more. As a public hospital with clinical services provided byWestern Health, this state-of-the-art facility willplay a key role in supporting the community—be part of something bigger and help shape the future of healthcare in Victoria.

THE POSITION

  • Lead and supervise cleaning teams across daily and periodic tasks.
  • Allocate staff duties and manage rosters to ensure service coverage.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Support infection control procedures and specialised cleaning in high-risk areas.
  • Train, mentor, and onboard new and existing staff.

THE PERSON

  • Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory role, ideally in healthcare.
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse cleaning team.
  • Experience managing rosters and coordinating daily operations.
  • Competent in managing inventory and waste reduction practices.
  • Holds or is willing to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
