This company specialises in guiding clients through the full property development journey. They provide Development Management, Project Management, Superintendent, and Quantity Surveying services across Queensland and New South Wales.

Well-connected and innovative, the business has delivered projects spanning multi-residential, commercial, education, health, and subdivisions. The team is known for being nimble, collaborative, and solutions-focused, partnering with private developers, not-for-profits, and government clients to achieve strong outcomes.

With several projects underway and a healthy pipeline ahead, the business is now seeking an Assistant Development Manager to contribute across the full development lifecycle.

The Role

  • Support feasibility assessments, due diligence, and financial modelling for new projects
  • Assist with design management and coordination between consultants, architects, and planners
  • Contribute to preparation and lodgement of development applications and approvals
  • Undertake market research, site assessments, and competitor analysis
  • Prepare project reports, presentations, and updates for senior management and clients
  • Assist in procurement, tender analysis, and contractor/consultant engagement
  • Monitor project budgets, risks, and timelines from feasibility through delivery
  • Attend and minute client, consultant, and authority meetings
  • Provide administrative support to ensure documentation is accurate and up to date

The Person

  • Degree qualified in Property Development, Construction Management, Architecture, QS, or related field
  • 1 - 3 years' experience in development or project management.
  • Understanding of the full development lifecycle – feasibility, design, approvals, delivery
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • Well-developed communication and negotiation skills; able to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Procore (Estate Master is an added bonus)
  • Ambitious, proactive, and committed to building a career in development management

The Package

  • $90,000 - $110,000 + Super (depending on experience)
  • Mentorship and training from senior leadership, including direct exposure to Director-level expertise
