SSW is looking for an enthusiastic, Tech-savvy Office Admin and Property Assistant to join our growing SSW Newcastle office.

SSW is a leading custom software development company with offices across Australia and internationally. We are passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions in a collaborative and innovative work environment.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated person to support the smooth operation of our Newcastle office and property management tasks. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for property maintenance and administrative efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage building-related correspondence with trades, tenants, and owners - including lifts, automation systems, and fire regulations.
  2. Use the latest software for document management, scheduling, and correspondence.
  3. Ensure office facilities are well-maintained.
  4. Perform general reception and office duties.
  5. Support the marketing and events team, including setup and logistics.
  6. Assist with ad-hoc tasks as required to support the smooth running of the office.
  7. Visit the SSW Sydney office for 2 days each fortnight (accommodation provided).

About You:

  1. Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new technologies.
  2. The right to live and work in Australia.
  3. Current driver's license and the ability to visit Sydney.
  4. A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in administration or a similar field.
  5. Exceptional communication skills.

Nice to Haves:

  1. Experience in property or facilities management.
