Responsibilities
  • Performs services and treatments such as facial treatments, body treatments, body massages including aromatherapy massage, deep muscle massage, and any other spa treatment offered.
  • Liaises with other practitioners, therapists, receptionists, and hotel colleagues to ensure a harmonious and peaceful environment.
  • Acts responsibly at all times regarding personal safety and the safety of colleagues and guests of the spa.
  • Builds rapport with guests, establishing a genuine emotional connection to create a loyal clientele.
  • Maintains and proactively updates own knowledge of all treatments, wellness journeys and current promotions.
  • Recommends wellness-inducing lifestyle practices and home care (retail) after evaluating guest wellbeing based on the Consultation Form and observed treatment outcomes.
  • Utilises basic functionality of Spa software (appointments and guest profiles).
  • Ensures preferences and relevant medical conditions are constantly updated on guest profiles.
  • Maintains fluid and regular communication with Lead Therapist and Spa Manager.
  • Understands the functions of other departments and how these interlink with the spa.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a minimum Diploma level qualification.
  • Biologique Recherche qualification would be highly favourable.
  • Ability to work at least one weekend day and on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
  • Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience within a similar role and strong communication skills.
  • Professional appearance representing the Sofitel brand.
