Overview

Salomon, a leading outdoor sports brand, designs performance-driven gear to empower adventurers. We're opening our first DFO store in Australia at South Wharf and are hiring passionate and fast-paced Sales Associates to support our team and create an exceptional retail experience. As a Sales Associate, you'll be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer feels welcomed and has a positive experience.

Your day-to-day:

  • Use exceptional customer service skills, sales techniques, and product knowledge to help customers find the perfect products and drive sales
  • Quickly and positively find solutions for customers with engaging interactions and diligent follow-up
  • Address complaints and objections swiftly and professionally, turning potential issues into positive experiences
  • Help protect company assets by promoting loss prevention practices
  • Keep the sales floor and stockroom clean, well-organised, and inviting for customers
  • Confidently handle cash and digital transactions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Contribute to maintaining high brand visual standards and product presentation
  • Support replenishment and pricing duties, including preparation for sales and promotions as needed
About You
  • You have a background in sales, retail, or customer service
  • Natural curiosity, high energy, and a positive outlook
  • Deep enthusiasm for the Salomon brand and products
  • Connection to our brand across key categories from trail, road, hike, or sportstyle
  • A talent for identifying customer needs and matching them with the right products to drive sales and exceed targets
  • Ability to motivate and uplift those around you and foster a supportive environment for customers and team members
