We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Site / Project Engineer to join Groundex, a subsidiary of Ertech, in our Malaga Office with approximately 50/50 split of office and site time to support the project teams and develop your skills and expertise.
As the Civil Engineer you will be responsible for a broad range of activities focussing on piling, retaining, drilling and other geotechnical scopes.
Key Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
- Manage the execution of projects on site and assist site personnel
- Inspects project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards
- Contributes to the profitability of team, and considers the impact of costs, time & quality constraints in decision making
- Assists with procurement and the management of suppliers and subcontractors
- Investigates potential problems and their root causes, and contribute actively in identifying practical solutions
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong interest in the practical side of civil engineering
- Be willing to get involved in site activities and decision making
- As we are in the drilling business you will get hands dirty from time to time
