About the role

Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? FGI Developments, a leading property development company, is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join their team in our Adelaide office. As a fulltime role, you will play a crucial part in the delivery of our upcoming construction projects across South Australia.

What you'll be doing

Undertake civil design and analysis for a range of development projects, including residential, commercial and infrastructure

Prepare engineering drawings, specifications and reports to support project delivery

Liaise with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure project compliance and alignment

Provide technical guidance and support to the wider project team

Assist with the management of construction activities and quality assurance

Help develop and implement innovative engineering solutions to enhance project outcomes

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

Chartered or eligible for Chartership with Engineers Australia

5+ years' experience working as a Civil Engineer, preferably in the property development or construction industry

Strong technical design skills and proficiency in engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D)

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and commercial acumen

Commitment to safety, sustainability and continuous improvement
