Job Description

At Egis / Engeny, we present an outstanding full-time two-year graduate program designed to cultivate a varied set of knowledge and skills. We are seeking talented, motivated, and innovative Graduates to join our dynamic and high-performing Water Resources team in Newcastle for 2026

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Support: Assist Senior Engineers in planning, designing, and executing water quality and water management systems projects, preparing tenders, pre-qualifications, panel submissions.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyse data to support team decisions and project outcomes.
  • Technical Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our engineering solutions are cutting-edge.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and drawings.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and solve engineering problems to improve processes and product quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications
  • Recent graduate of a tertiary degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science.
  • Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia
  • Previous student vacation/internship experience ideally in a consulting environment highly desired
  • Experience working within a team in retail, hospitality or customer service industries highly desired
  • Possesses a strong desire to learn and grow professionally
  • Are innovative thinkers and problem-solvers
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent rapport building skills and desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
