Position Summary

You'll support the Venue Manager in delivering seamless front-of-house operations and maintaining our high standards. Hands-on during service, you will guide the team, ensure exceptional guest experiences, manage reservations, monitor reports and budgets, and contribute to the success of the venue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open and close the venue in line with Light Years standards
  • Train and guide the FOH team to deliver outstanding service
  • Manage reservations and maximise revenue via the booking system
  • Monitor bar stock, control COGS, and manage ordering
  • Address maintenance issues and report promptly to the Venue Manager
  • Assist with weekly reconciliations and KPI reporting
  • Support marketing initiatives and frontline guest relations

About You
  • Strong operations sense, including stock control and cost management
  • Experienced in coaching teams and maintaining high service standards
  • Skilled in leadership and communication in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Excellent guest service focus and ability to resolve issues gracefully
  • Wine knowledge is a strong asset; familiarity with Asian food and beverage is a bonus
  • Dependable, punctual, and thrives under pressure
