Key Accountabilities

  • Anticipates and attend to the guest's needs and desires immediately.
  • Services and cleans allocated rooms to the highest standards within the allocated time
  • Replenishes and controls Guest supplies.
  • Reports to the Supervisor any maintenance needing attention.
  • Follows all Housekeeping policies and procedures to the standard set by the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Takes extreme care with personal grooming in order to maintain a consistently high level of professional appearance.
  • Informs Housekeeping Office IMMEDIATELY of any unusual, different or abnormal situations seen in or around the Hotel.
  • Reports any potential health and safety hazards to the Supervisor.
  • Greets Hotel guests in a polite and courteous manner being careful not to confuse friendliness with familiarity.
  • Attends monthly departmental communication, training and information meetings.
  • Complies with all of the Hotel's standard operational policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Handbook.
  • Has a full knowledge of, and practices all of the Hotel's established workplace health and safety guidelines (WH&S).
  • Gives assistance to other departments or outlets when required.
  • Carries out other duties as directed by the Executive Housekeeper/Housekeeping Supervisors.
