The OpportunityWe're seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team based in Maitland, Ashtonfield, or Kurri Kurri. This role involves community-based therapy and clinic sessions tailored to meet the needs of our clients.
This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates to improve their Paediatric Occupational Therapy skills or for experienced professionals to continue providing fulfilling therapy to children in need.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy intervention and comprehensive assessments.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, teachers, and other health professionals to support clients using a holistic approach.
- Offer consultancy support and work closely with members of the client's team and service providers.
- Maintain registration requirements and stay up-to-date with professional knowledge.
- Contribute to organisational goals and work within a large team of allied health professionals.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- A passion for working with people with disabilities and supporting their development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of a person-centred approach.
