Company Description

Omega AI HPC is more than just a high-performance computing platform—it is a catalyst for global progress. By integrating decentralised AI, quantum computing readiness, and financial technology innovations, we are building a scalable, secure, and self-sustaining computational ecosystem.

Our vision extends beyond efficiency and profitability; we are committed to driving scientific breakthroughs, reducing computational energy waste, and positioning Australia at the forefront of ethical AI and green technology.

This system will not only power cutting-edge research but also accelerate solutions to humanity's greatest challenges—from combating disease to unlocking the mysteries of deep space—while significantly cutting emissions and reducing the environmental impact of large-scale computation.

Are you ready to make a real impact for the future of Australia?

Do you want to work alongside the brightest minds, push the boundaries of innovation, and hold yourself to the highest standards?

If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment, embrace long hours in pursuit of something extraordinary, and believe in a round-table ethos where ideas win—not titles—then this might be the challenge you've been searching for. You've worked at the world's leading banks, mastered the complexities of financial institutions, and optimised markets at the highest level—yet you know there's more to achieve. Imagine taking your expertise in banking and finance and applying it to something bigger—empowering Australian enterprise, driving technological breakthroughs, and funding the research that could cure diseases.

The financial models you build won't just drive profits; they will fuel the future.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Omega AI HPC, based in Sydney, NSW. The role involves developing and optimising financial models for risk analysis, revenue forecasting, and strategic pricing. The analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability and profitability of our decentralised compute economy while integrating AI-powered quantitative strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct market risk analysis using advanced quantitative techniques, focusing on crypto, AI-HPC economics, and tokenised assets.
  2. Develop and implement financial hedging models, including Black-Scholes derivatives pricing and Nash Equilibrium-based strategic pricing for computational resources.
  3. Optimise our economic model, ensuring its alignment with Omega AI HPC's profitability framework.
  4. Analyse decentralised node economics and compute liquidity models, ensuring efficient allocation of Omega AI HPC's decentralised computational resources.
  5. Work closely with AI and blockchain engineers to integrate real-time quantitative analytics into smart contracts and automated pricing mechanisms.
  6. Develop predictive models for revenue forecasting based on compute demand and AI adoption trends.
  7. Ensure compliance with ASIC, AUSTRAC, and ATO regulations in financial modelling related to our proprietary O.AUD transactions.
Qualifications
  1. Strong market risk analysis skills, with a background in financial engineering, AI-driven forecasting, or crypto-economics.
  2. Expertise in quantitative analytics, stochastic models, and derivative pricing (e.g., Black-Scholes).
  3. Proficiency in Python, R, or Solidity for implementing financial models and automating risk assessment.
  4. Master's or PhD in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, or a related field.
  5. Experience working with decentralised finance (DeFi), stablecoins, or blockchain-based economic models is a plus.
  6. Understanding of HPC market structures, tokenised compute economies, and federated AI networks.
  7. Ability to collaborate with engineers, economists, and AI researchers in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
Why Join Us?
  • Possible Executive Position with equity stake, structured through a vesting schedule tied to KPIs.
  • Be at the cutting edge of AI-driven finance, blockchain, and high-performance computing, paving the way for Australia's next great technological leap—from HPC to quantum computing. Play a pivotal role in building a system that will not only drive scientific discovery and research but also shape the future of medicine, space exploration, and the very fabric of human innovation.
  • Work on real-time economic models with direct applications in Omega AI's decentralised compute ecosystem.
  • Contribute to financial innovations that power a next-generation HPC infrastructure.
  • Engage with a cutting-edge research team working on AI governance, tokenomics, and quantum readiness, centrally located in Sydney City.
  • Competitive salary, token incentives, and access to Omega AI's computational resources.
