The university is looking for a talented, self-motivated person to fill the position of Chief of Staff to the Vice-Chancellor. This role is a refreshing, empowering opportunity where you can see first-hand the impact you have on regional communities. The Chief of Staff is a senior advisor and trusted partner to the Vice-Chancellor, providing leadership and oversight of priority initiatives across the University and fostering collaboration and integration across divisions.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the Vice-Chancellor\'s priorities are advanced effectively.
  • Coordinate executive-level initiatives and enable the smooth operation of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.
  • Provide high-level advice and decision support; oversee governance processes; represent the Vice-Chancellor when required.
  • Strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the Vice-Chancellor has the information and institutional alignment needed to lead with impact.
Qualifications and attributes
  • Ability to operate in complex environments; forward thinking with strong analytical skills to distill key issues and identify options and solutions.
  • Proven capability to deliver results through collaboration and genuine stakeholder relationships based on trust.
  • High integrity, judgement, discretion, and first-class communication skills.
