About the job:We are seeking for an Azure Solutions Architect with a strong focus on data to join our team . You will have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with our prestigious clients and contribute to their success.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and define project objectives.
  • Trusted Advisership: The ability to build trusted advisor status and deep relationships across clients' stakeholders by understanding the clients' needs and technologies.
  • Design end-to-end data solutions on the Azure platform, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation plans.
  • Design and architect data solutions on Azure, using services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • End-to-End Data Management: Oversee the entire data delivery process for new projects. This includes change management, ideation, requirements gathering, development, testing, and migration to production.
  • Pipeline Development: Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Synapse. Create and manage metadata ingestion processes in ADF.
  • Cloud Data Solutions: Implement and deploy Azure-based data solutions across the Microsoft platform, leveraging ADF.
  • Data Governance and Best Practices: Support data governance activities and advocate for best practices within data warehousing.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Setup: Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support the data warehouse, ensuring efficient and automated deployment processes.
  • Active listening: Probing with insightful questions to comprehend customer requirements, challenges, business context, and motivations, delving deeper than surface-level information.
  • Proficiency in Well-Architected Framework/Cloud Adoption Framework (WAF/CAF), coupled with extensive technical expertise in managing cloud and hybrid infrastructures at an enterprise scale, encompassing architecture design, migration strategies, and technology governance.

Your Technical Skills and experience:
  • Over 5 years of demonstrated expertise as a Solutions Architect or Data Architect, with a specialized emphasis on Azure technologies.
  • Azure Services: In-depth expertise of Azure services relevant to data engineering and analytics, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, etc.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and optionally R, Scala and Java for data manipulation, analysis, modelling and integration.
  • Data Modelling and ETL/ELT: Understanding of data modelling concepts and experience in designing efficient data models for analytics and reporting. Proficiency in developing ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks.
  • Data Integration: Knowledge of data integration patterns and techniques for ingesting data from various sources into Azure ecosystem. Experience with data ingestion tools, data formats (e.g., CSV, JSON, Parquet), and data connectors.
  • DevOps Practices: Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and change management. Understanding of branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Security and Compliance: Knowledge of Azure security best practices, data encryption, identity, and access management (IAM), and data governance.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Skills in monitoring Azure services and Databricks clusters for performance, resource utilization, and cost optimization. 
  • Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Databricks monitoring tools.
  • Analytical Mindset: Deep understanding of analytics' business-driving capabilities. Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify gaps in information, manipulate complex datasets, and showcase strong data cleaning skills.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly motivated with excellent time management skills, capable of working independently.

Certifications: 
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert is a must have (AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions)
