Great opportunity for HC/MC Drivers with road ranger gearbox experience (2 years minimum) to join a family-operated transport logistics company that values its team with an immediate start in Mackay, QLD

Monday to Friday - varied start times and weekend work on offer. (10-12hrs shift)

Responsibilities:
  • Following the run sheet schedule from Mackay to Giru for delivery within the required time frame.
  • Pick up and deliver fresh produce, local palettised freight in a timely and safe manner.
  • Loading and unloading correct materials as per Delivery Docket.
  • Managing routes efficiently.
  • Some manual loading/ unloading may be required.
  • Inspecting vehicles, and reporting problems and incidents to management.
  • Complying with OH&S regulations, as well as company rules.

Requirements:
  • Hold a valid Heavy Combination or Multi Combination truck license.
  • Prior experience in the industry is highly regarded.
  • Display a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understand all aspects of OH&S compliance and manual handling.
  • Other warehouse duties as assigned by the manager.
  • Interpersonal skills - must be able to get along with other workers and be pleasant to customers.
  • Must have an Assessing Fitness to Drive Medical certificate or be willing to obtain one.
