About the role
As a part time Myotherapist, you will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your client’s quality of life. This role involves working within a collaborative team with Physiotherapists and other Massage Therapists.

In this role you will be...

Assessing symptoms and medical history, making a diagnosis and developing care plans for individuals

Manipulating muscles and other soft tissue/s

Educating and training your clients on all aspects of therapy

Providing your clients with goal setting activities and guidance on stretching, strengthening and improving posture

Referring your clients to Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology treatment where required

Liaising with healthcare professionals such as GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, allied health assistants and occupational therapists to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored

Documenting and reporting on your client’s condition and progress

Qualification in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy

Must have Medibank Private and other private health registration

Australian Working Rights

Willing to undergo a National Criminal History check upon successful application
