About the Role:As an Educational Leader you will work with and support our team of passionate Educators.You willmodel creativity and innovation, motivate, and lead the team to create a positive and fun working spaceIn this role you will design and implement engaging learning programs and work collaboratively while also providing confident support and motivation within your team of Educators. You willalso maintain excellent relationships with families, children and team members.Sparrow Early Learning Ferny Grove is a fully renovated, warm and welcoming childcare centre that provides the highest quality care and education for our children and their families. Our centre is close to public transport and within walking distance from the Ferny Grove Shopping Centre. We have neighboring schools such as Ferny Grove State and Ferny Grove State High school.What you'll need:
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR Bachelor in Education (Early Childhood)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a current Educational Leader role
  • Proven knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, Childhood Development and Play-based Child-drive Pedagogy
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to communicate with clear vision.
  • Experience with mentoring & collaborating with a diverse team
  • CurrentWorking with Children Check
  • First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
