Exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Platform Architect to lead platform support, enhancements, and strategy while driving business efficiency and growth.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Applications, the primary responsibility of the Salesforce Platform Architect is to support and maintain the Salesforce platform, manage vendors, and collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and make recommendations. The role involves executing day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of Salesforce, ensuring maximum efficiency and full utilization of Salesforce features. The Architect will work closely with technical and business leaders to design and implement enhancements to meet current needs and support future growth.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Govern the technical architecture, design, and development of the Salesforce solution, ensuring standards are documented and followed.
2. Ensure Salesforce capabilities are effectively used to solve business problems.
3. Participate in scrum teams to improve Salesforce capabilities.
4. Manage release and deployment processes.
5. Perform hands-on configurations, coding, integrations, and deployments.
6. Communicate ideas clearly and drive outcomes to meet client requirements.
7. Engage in Salesforce roadmap, projects, and solution design discussions.
8. Collaborate with operational and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and identify opportunities.
9. Support process improvements within the IT and enterprise teams.
10. Provide training and guidance to promote adoption of Salesforce solutions.
11. Conduct system audits and maintain documentation.
12. Maintain system documentation and updates in line with policies.
13. Offer technical advice and contribute to the wider IT team.
14. Oversee vendor activities, ensuring delivery aligns with standards.
15. Work with external parties to maintain API connections and data security.

Experience and Capabilities :

• 7+ years in a similar Salesforce technical role.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices and features.
• Deep technical expertise in Salesforce Clouds (Sales & Service Cloud, CPQ, Experience, Marketing).
• Experience with automation tools like Workflows, Flows, and Process Builder.
• Proficiency in building and deploying custom objects, reports, dashboards, and features using Lightning Experience and CICD pipelines.
• Experience with data management tools like Data Loader, XL Connector, and Workbench.
• Experience with integration tools such as Jitterbit or Mulesoft.
• Ability to develop Salesforce solutions addressing business needs.
• Understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, SSO, OAuth).

Mandatory Requirements

• Current National Police Record Check.
• International Police Check (if required).
• Current National Photo ID proof.
