Overview

Busways Group is hiring Bus Drivers for Full Time Permanent roles at our Lonsdale and Seaford depots. We are looking for passionate drivers who enjoy servicing their community and delivering excellent customer experiences. Responsibilities
  • Operate buses safely and professionally to provide reliable public transport
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to passengers
  • Follow schedules, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
Qualifications
  • A current and valid driver's license (Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid highly desirable but not essential)
  • A good driving history
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willing to undergo pre-employment medical, criminal history check, and working with children check
  • Current Large Passenger (LP) accreditation is highly desirable (or willingness to obtain one)

Hours of Work

Shifts may include weekends, early mornings, and late nights. Most full-time shifts are split shifts to cover peak service times. Example shift windows: Morning 5:00am – 11:30am; Afternoon/Evening 2:00pm – 8:00pm. Other shifts may be available; all shifts comply with National Heavy Vehicle Regulations and the applicable Enterprise Agreement. All depots operate seven days per week with weekend overtime available.

Eligibility to Apply
  • Current and valid driver's license (LP accreditation highly desired but not essential)
  • Good driving history
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willing to undergo pre-employment medical, criminal history check, and working with children check
  • Current LP accreditation is highly desirable or willingness to obtain one
