Research Fellow / Project Manager (Victorian Primary Schools) – University of Melbourne
Role type: Fixed Term for 12 Months, 0.6 to 0.8 FTE. Faculty: Faculty of Education. Salary: Level A, $85,555 - $116,094 p.a. plus 17% super.
Responsibilities- Manage Research Activities: Supervise research assistants, ensure ethics adherence, and oversee data collection and management.
- Liaise with Stakeholders: Collaborate with research partners, schools, and families to facilitate study implementation.
- Contribute to Project Deliverables: Develop data protocols, conduct basic analyses, and contribute to publications arising from the project.
- Ensure Project Progress: Manage day-to-day tasks, organise team meetings, and address issues impeding project advancement.
You are a dedicated and versatile professional with a tertiary qualification and experience in research activities within primary schools, possessing excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.
Experience and qualifications- Honours/Master's degree in a relevant discipline with significant research experience.
- Outstanding organisational skills, including project administration and budgeting expertise.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in conducting objective child assessments in school settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using project management software and data analysis tools.
