Job Title: Senior Test Analyst (Contract)

Contract Duration: 6 months (July 2025 – December 2025)

Location: Hybrid – Adelaide-based with minimum 2 days/week onsite

Pay Rate: AUD 120/hour (including super)

Required Exp: 8+ years' hands-on testing experience in senior-level roles within Australia.

Are you a seasoned Software Test Analyst ready to take ownership of enterprise-scale testing initiatives in a highly integrated IT environment? Our client is hiring a Senior Test Analyst to lead testing deliverables across a large, multi-year digital transformation portfolio in the Higher Education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end testing activities across functional, non-functional, system integration, UAT, and regression phases.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test documentation including Test Plans, Test Cases, Summary Reports, and Traceability Matrices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality standards are achieved.
  • Utilize JIRA and Zephyr for defect management, test case execution, and dashboard reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing practices, working in an Agile, cross-functional environment.

About You:

  • 8+ years' hands-on testing experience in senior-level roles within Australia.
  • Proficient in planning and executing testing strategies independently.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex test scenarios, defect triage, and UAT facilitation.
  • ISTQB Foundation certified (or equivalent); Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in IT or related field.
  • Background in Higher Education sector and familiarity with Adobe, CRM, Learning, Student, or Research systems.

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid working model: minimum 2 days onsite in Adelaide.
  • Weekly timesheet submission required.
