B&E Foods in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, is seeking a full-time Accountant to join our team. We are a distributor of food and groceries supplies across Australia, operating under the conglomerate B&E Groups (BE Foods).
Position DetailsRole: Accountant
Location: Adelaide, South Australia
Roles and Responsibilities- Prepare and advise on compliance with statutory obligations such as IAS, GST, PAYGs, Payroll tax, and Corporate tax.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including profit and loss, balance sheet, and operational reports.
- Examine and advise on income, expenditure, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and other accounting activities.
- Monitor, forecast, and report cash flow.
- Coordinate with external accounting, taxation, and audit advisors for IAS, BAS, and financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting processes.
- Manage financial and accounting records.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, auditing, finance, or related fields.
- Practical experience working as an accountant in a similar industry.
Additionally, candidates should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Additional Details- Salary Range: $75,000 to $80,000
