Infosys Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Perth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electricity distribution utility, particularly in customer processes related to new connections and modifications. This role requires an individual who can effectively engage with senior stakeholders and navigate diverse interests to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and document customer processes, focusing on new connections and modifications within the electricity distribution utility sector.
• Stay informed about the regulatory framework surrounding Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) in Australia, ensuring compliance and alignment with industry standards.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate discussions, and manage expectations across various interests and priorities.
• Develop clear and concise user stories to guide project development and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Utilize tools such as JIRA for tracking project progress, managing tasks, and maintaining effective communication among team members.
• Conduct comprehensive process analysis and mapping to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize workflows.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions to capture business needs and translate them into actionable insights for the technical team.
• Create current state maps to understand existing processes and identify gaps that need to be addressed.
• Leverage domain knowledge to provide valuable support to the Solution Architect in defining and designing solutions that address business concerns.
• Facilitate workshops and conduct interviews to engage stakeholders and gather input for project initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the electricity distribution utility sector, with a focus on customer processes such as new connections and modifications.
• In-depth knowledge of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) regulations in Australia.
• Proven experience working with senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate varied interests.

Proficiency in the following areas:

• User story writing
• JIRA for project management
• Process analysis and mapping
• Requirements gathering
• Current state mapping
• Ability to utilize domain knowledge to support the Solution Architect in solution definition and design.
• Strong facilitation skills to conduct effective workshops and interviews with stakeholders.
