Wilson Security presents an exciting opportunity to join our local security workforce as a Mine Site Security Officer in Kalgoorlie, WA.

We are seeking multiple experienced Security Officers to work in our Kalgoorlie Portfolio. You MUST be available and flexible to work day and night shifts. Only local residents of the Kalgoorlie / Boulder district need apply.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

  • Location: Kalgoorlie, Western Australia
  • Full-time positions
  • Potential earnings up to $100,000 plus super (depending on hours worked, overtime, classification, and other factors)

Wilson Security is expanding in Western Australia, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence across the state. This growth has created new roles within our WA team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in a response role with a reputable organization on a permanent basis in the Mining Security Portfolio.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • LOCAL RESIDENTS ONLY
  • Permanent full-time positions
  • Lifestyle roster - 7 days on / 7 days off
  • Previous experience in a similar role essential
  • Highly safety and security focused, with the ability to think on the go
  • 5 weeks annual leave
  • Above award salary of $100,000
  • Monitoring site activity, identifying irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
  • Responding to incidents calmly and confidently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional reporting skills
  • High level of personal presentation and conduct
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to comply with all policies and procedures

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

  • Experienced guards with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
  • Current and valid WA Security license
  • Current and valid WA "C" Class Driver's license
  • Must hold current valid First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit for long periods
  • Proven computer and administrative skills
  • Full, unlimited right to work in Australia
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
  • Willingness to work day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays
