About the role
We are seeking an experienced dietitian to join our Community Rehab team to cover 19 weeks of long service leave. The role is part-time, primarily based at Wantirna Health, but may require work at other rehab sites. Join a supportive multidisciplinary team focusing on short-term rehab with clients in their homes, at our centre, or via telehealth. Your caseload will include conditions such as malnutrition, wounds, diabetes, and post-stroke care. You will manage your clinical work independently but will have support from a senior dietitian and team leader.

Eligibility for practicing membership with Dietitians Australia (DA) and the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) programHighly developed interpersonal skillsA strong commitment to high-quality careAbility to set relevant short-term rehabilitation goals with clientsAbility to work effectively as part of a diverse teamHealthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination guidelines as per the Australian Immunisation Handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal influenza vaccination is mandatory, and employment is conditional on being up-to-date prior to commencement.
