Job Title: Occupational Therapist (Flexible hours) - New Grad or Experienced - South Burnett, Queensland.

Job Type: Permanent – Full-time/Part-time (Flexible work hours).

As an interprofessional practice, they work alongside professionals from various fields, including Psychology and Exercise Physiology, to provide holistic care to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Occupational Therapy (OT) supports focused on daily living skills and independence.
  • Conduct workplace and home assessments to recommend modifications and interventions.
  • Develop and implement therapy plans to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation in line with NDIS, WorkCover, and Medicare requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Travel to client homes and workplaces to conduct assessments and provide therapy as needed.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with NDIS participants, WorkCover, and/or Medicare clients (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to client locations.
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain).
  • Flexible work hours to suit your lifestyle.
  • Competitive hourly rate ($45 to $55 per hour).
