The role involves handling claims and queries related to suspected or confirmed fraudulent activity, with the goal of investigating and remediating fraud-related matters.

As a member of a high-performing team, you will be responsible for investigating claims of identity theft, allegations of fraud, and halting any adverse/fraudulent activations to rectify customer issues.

Your day in the life of a Fraud Risk Analyst at Optus

  • Utilise your strong fraud and/or credit assessment skills to conduct effective investigations into allegations of fraudulent activity.
  • Manage end-to-end case remediation for claims of identity theft or identity takeover.
  • Support the Complex Investigations & Usage Fraud teams.

Your skills to pay the bills

  • Ability to complete fraud risk evaluations accurately and efficiently, ensuring best business practices are applied and followed.
  • Telecommunications or Banking experience within a fraud operations, credit, or investigations team.
  • A sound understanding of telecommunications products.
  • Experience with credit management initiatives, processes, and systems.
  • Strong reporting, tracking, and trending skills.
