The role involves handling claims and queries related to suspected or confirmed fraudulent activity, with the goal of investigating and remediating fraud-related matters.
As a member of a high-performing team, you will be responsible for investigating claims of identity theft, allegations of fraud, and halting any adverse/fraudulent activations to rectify customer issues.
Your day in the life of a Fraud Risk Analyst at Optus
- Utilise your strong fraud and/or credit assessment skills to conduct effective investigations into allegations of fraudulent activity.
- Manage end-to-end case remediation for claims of identity theft or identity takeover.
- Support the Complex Investigations & Usage Fraud teams.
Your skills to pay the bills
- Ability to complete fraud risk evaluations accurately and efficiently, ensuring best business practices are applied and followed.
- Telecommunications or Banking experience within a fraud operations, credit, or investigations team.
- A sound understanding of telecommunications products.
- Experience with credit management initiatives, processes, and systems.
- Strong reporting, tracking, and trending skills.
