Position: Onsite Service Technician - Field Service
Join our Tamworth team as a talented Onsite Service Technician - Field Service. This is a fully embedded permanent role with a 7/7 roster from Sydney to Tamworth, with all meals and accommodation fully paid.
Key Responsibilities- Work on critical mining projects
- Respond to breakdown events as the first responder
- Perform fleet maintenance and fault diagnostics
- Handle a diverse range of engine repairs, both major and minor
- Work autonomously and as part of a team
- Collaborate with OEMs such as Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr, etc.
- Represent Cummins at customer sites
- Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification (Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter)
- Previous field service experience with heavy diesel products, mining equipment, or power generation (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Valid driver's license
- Good communication skills
- FIFO schedule on a 7/7 roster
- Flights from Sydney only
- Employment type: Full-time
