Location: Thornlands, Queensland, Australia. This is a full-time role, initially offered on a fixed-term contract through to January 2026, with a scheduled closure over the Christmas period (22 December 2025 – 2 January 2026). For the right candidate, this opportunity has the potential to transition into a permanent position.

About the role: As the ELC Administrator, you'll be the welcoming face of the centre, providing high-level support across enrolments, compliance, communications, and day-to-day operations. You'll work closely with families, educators, and leadership to ensure the centre runs efficiently and continues to deliver exceptional care and education.

What we're looking for
  • Experience in administration within an Early Learning Centre & hold a Cert III/Diploma in Early Childhood Education with strong admin skills
  • Familiarity with OWNA or similar childcare management systems (highly desirable)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records
  • A warm, professional presence and genuine commitment to supporting children, families, and staff
  • A current Working with Children Blue Card or eligibility to obtain one

Salary: $33.49 – $36.47 per hour, based on experience.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage reception and provide outstanding customer service to families
  • Support enrolment processes, tours, and documentation
  • Maintain compliance records including attendance, CCB notices, and audits
  • Assist with staff onboarding, professional development logs, and policy updates
  • Liaise with finance, property services, and other departments to support centre operations
  • Communicate with families via StoryPark and other platforms
  • Uphold the centre's values and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment
