Job Description - Level 3 Rope Access - Riggers (264554)
Level 3 Rope Access - Riggers - 264554
We are seeking skilled and experiencedLevel 3 Rope Access Riggers to join our team at Aloca Portland Aluminium Smelter in Victoria for approximately 6 month duration. You will carry out remediation works, playing a crucial part in the structural integrity and maintenance across various sections of the smelter.
Key Duties
- Perform blasting and painting tasks on structural components, including steel structures, cable tray supports, air slide supports, handrails, and gantries.
- Engage in encapsulation and ensure environmental safety in line with Alcoa's Environmental Policy.
- Work collaboratively with a team of experts employing scaffolding and rope access techniques.
About You
- Local applicants from the Portland region are strongly encouraged to apply
- Proven experience in Level 3 Rope Access workers within a heavy industrial setting
- IRATA Level Rope Access Level 3
- Working at Heights within 2 years
- Construction White Card
Please note a rigorous pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening will be conducted for short-listed candidates.
What We Offer
- DIDO or FIFO to Melbourne Airport, then shuttle to Portland
- 12hr days x 13-day fortnight
- 4 weeks on – 2 weeks off
- Paid 8hr RDO/Travel Day each fortnight
- Accommodation provided + LAHA $80 per day for food provided for non-local employees.
