Overview

Water Servicing Coordinator (Engineer) at Stantec

Stantec is seeking an experienced Water Servicing Coordinator to join our NSW team, with offices in Sydney or Wollongong. You will report to the Utilities and WSC lead and work on major Sydney Water developer projects related to the design of Sydney Water infrastructure for transport and community development. The role offers flexible work arrangements and can be based in either Sydney or Wollongong.

Our approach covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, streetscapes, and multimodal corridors that connect communities and workplaces.

This role can be based in either Sydney or Wollongong.

Day-to-day responsibilities
  • Work with Sydney Waters Hydra and E-Developer systems
  • Manage projects from application to completion
  • Engage with clients to design solutions that meet needs and community expectations
  • Analyze data, interpret results, and support project goals
  • Coordinate design activities and submit proposals within timeframes and budgets
  • Attend project/client meetings and participate in community consultations
  • Perform field work and site inspections
Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience in a Water Servicing Coordinator role
  • Demonstrated design background
  • Experience in project management on Sydney Water projects
  • Strong understanding of Sydney Water policies and procedures
  • Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Project)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
