What you will do:
- Deliver safe, quality care in accordance with standards and guidelines set by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Develop and maintain high standards of midwifery practice
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, and deliver exceptional care in maternity and gynaecology specialities
- Provide support to single registered midwives when needed, especially for patients with comorbidities requiring general nursing expertise
- Engage effectively in communication with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
- Promote and support breastfeeding initiatives, aiming to optimise outcomes for families
- Educate women and their families within your scope of practice
