About The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain a strong foundation across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. This is truly an amazing role to diversify your skills. In this role, you'll be helping your patients stay active, independent, and well-supported in their homes and local community. Your inpatient work will involve contributing to multidisciplinary care on the ward and supporting timely, safe discharge planning. In the outpatient setting, you'll provide personalised therapy sessions and home visits focusing on your patients' goals. You'll also lead group programs centred on recovery and self-management. You will also participate in outreach by travelling to rural Multi-Purpose Services to support both community clients and aged care residents.

Based at Muswellbrook Hospital, this exciting early career physiotherapist role places you in a fun and supportive Community Health Physiotherapy Team. Working across the beautiful Upper Hunter region you would be welcomed by the team and community creating the perfect backdrop for both personal and professional growth. Additional Information

• * Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions. Please note: if your contract ends before the agreed completion date, you may be required to repay a portion of the incentive. • An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.
• This position is full time; however, job share and/or part time arrangements will be considered.
