Overview

Remote contractor role with Unified Healthcare Group (UHG). Mobile Health Screening Consultants provide in-home and workplace health screening for the life insurance industry. This is a remote contractor role with the benefits of managing your own schedule and workload. UHG uses the medEbridge platform to provide secure online access to a national marketplace of healthcare professionals.

If you are an Enrolled or Registered Nurse with over 2 years of recent blood collection experience, this opportunity could be for you.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with life insurance applicants in their home or workplace to conduct routine health screening assessments and pathology collection services.
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding stages of the screening process.
  • Update head office every 24 hours on the progression of appointment stages using the medEbridge platform.
  • Use the medEbridge platform to complete and finalise bookings and results.
Qualifications
  • Enrolled or Registered Nurse with a solid medical and phlebotomy background (minimum 2 years).
  • Valid registration with APHRA.
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service aligned with business values.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain an ABN.
  • Required to have private indemnity and public liability insurance.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license, car insurance and have a reliable vehicle as health assessments are conducted at clients' homes or workplaces.
